Montreal Canadiens defying all logic with their latest winning streak

The Montreal Canadiens have put together a strong run of form, winning five of their last six games despite facing notable roster challenges. The streak has propelled the team to second place in the Atlantic Division with four consecutive regulation wins, even with captain Nick Suzuki and Ivan Demidov sidelined due to injuries, alongside a prolonged power-play drought.

Harrison Smajovits of A Winning Habit highlights key contributions during the run, including goaltender Jacob Fowler's strong play and Jakub Dobes earning a 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars. Forward Cole Caufield has registered eight points in six games, supported offensively by defensemen Alexandre Carrier, Lane Hutson, and Noah Dobson.
