The Lakers take a 21-point lead in the first quarter and build it to 25 before the Warriors race back to tie the score at halftime and win the second-half battle.

The Los Angeles Lakers surrendered a 25-point lead to suffer a 112-95 defeat against the Golden State Warriors in their opening NBA Cup game at Chase Center on Friday night. After opening up a commanding 38-15 advantage in the first quarter, the Lakers faltered offensively and committed 22 turnovers, allowing the Warriors to completely overturn the deficit.
Stephen Curry led Golden State's comeback with 31 points, including eight three-pointers, while Luka Doncic paced Los Angeles with 37 points. Lakers head coach JJ Redick lamented his team's ball security and lack of connectivity as the Lakers were outscored 27-15 in the fourth quarter.
