He shared a 146-run stand with Pavan Rathnayake, but Pakistan's quicks pulled the game back in the final 10 over…

Pakistan restricted Sri Lanka to 325 for 8 despite Kamindu Mendis scoring his maiden ODI century. Kamindu struck 131 and combined with Pavan Rathnayake, who hit 77 from 65 balls, for a 146-run partnership to put Sri Lanka on course for an imposing total.
Sri Lanka suffered a late collapse in the final nine overs, losing five wickets for 52 runs after Kamindu was trapped lbw by Shaheen Shah Afridi. Afridi, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, and Salman Agha each took two wickets to stall Sri Lanka's momentum.
