The New York Giants are ahead of schedule at the bye week, but they still have some glaring weaknesses.

GMEN HQ writer Michael Haney evaluated the New York Giants' roster at their bye week, assigning midseason grades across every offensive and defensive position group. Haney highlighted the linebackers as the team's top-performing unit with an 'A' grade, led by standout rookie Arvell Reese, while tight end Isaiah Likely earned the offense's highest mark with an 'A-' after leading the slot passing game in Matt Nagy's system.
Conversely, running backs and cornerbacks received the lowest marks at 'C+' due to inconsistent production and depth concerns. Haney noted that offensive tackles Andrew Thomas and Jermaine Eluemunor have excelled, while safety Jevon Holland and defensive lineman Abdul Carter have anchored key improvements across the defense despite injuries to starters like Tremaine Edmunds.
