Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson has announced he will start against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8 after missing three games with an ankle injury. Jackson explained that while his ankle still hurts, the pain is bearable enough for him to play. Head coach Jesse Minter confirmed that Jackson has managed the injury well and expects him to play his usual style of football on Sunday.
Jackson suffered the injury against the Tennessee Titans, during which time the Ravens lost two of three games and dropped to last place in the AFC North. Jackson had tried to return last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, but severe swelling prevented him from suiting up. Before the injury, Jackson had recorded 967 passing yards and six touchdowns across four games.
