Man Utd were beaten 2-0 by Chelsea in the Premier League, suffering another defeat under Michael Carrick.

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick addressed Lisandro Martinez's red card and the looming threat of entering the relegation zone following a 2-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. After a strong first-half display where United failed to convert their chances, Chelsea took the lead through Morgan Rogers before Martinez was sent off for a second yellow card after colliding with Wesley Fofana.
Cole Palmer converted the ensuing penalty past goalkeeper Senne Lammens to seal the victory against 10-man United. Carrick noted that the dismissal and second goal significantly shifted the match, insisting his squad must simply focus on winning games to avoid the drop zone.
