Notes from the Central including promising news for Brock Faber, Colton Parayko will miss at least one game due to injury, and more.

Minnesota Wild defenseman Brock Faber has cleared protocols and is expected to start skating following a preseason fractured skull, though there is no timetable for his game return. Meanwhile, the Wild recalled winger Mason Shaw from AHL Iowa for the second time in a week after he posted 10 points in 10 minor-league games.
In St. Louis, the Blues assigned center Otto Stenberg back to AHL Springfield and recalled defenseman Theo Lindstein. Lindstein will step into the lineup as veteran defenseman Colton Parayko is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
