Kim Hellberg's verdict on Middlesbrough's 3-0 win over Charlton at the Riverside…
Middlesbrough extended their unbeaten home run this season with a 3-0 victory against Charlton Athletic at the Riverside. Sebastian Berhalter opened the scoring in the 12th minute before Will Lankshear netted twice, on either side of half-time, bringing his season tally to 15 goals. Head coach Kim Hellberg highlighted the team's relentless preparation at Rockliffe as the key to their dominant performance.
The result lifts Boro to 17 points taken from a possible 21 on home turf this campaign. Although Lankshear was substituted late in the match while holding his hamstring, Hellberg clarified that the forward was merely dealing with cramp rather than a serious injury.
