Pompey boss left ‘baffled’ by key refereeing decision…

Portsmouth manager John Mousinho expressed confusion after a disallowed goal prevented his team from taking the lead in a 0-0 draw against Burnley at Turf Moor. After Burnley goalkeeper Gregoire Coudert attempted a punch, Marlon Pack lobbed the ball into an empty net, but the referee disallowed the strike due to an alleged foul by Ryan Kavuma-McQueen.
Despite his frustration over the disallowed goal, Mousinho stated he was pleased to take a point from the match. Burnley, playing in their first game under new head coach Fabio Celestini, controlled much of the contest with 18 shots, while Portsmouth failed to register a shot on target.
