10/31 Preview – Secondary Scoring Off The Schneid + No Morning Skate, Clarke “good” to go, Fiala latest, Matinee Start

The Los Angeles Kings face the Buffalo Sabres in a Saturday afternoon matinee at Crypto.com Arena, looking to build on their 6-5 overtime victory over Ottawa. Coming off snapped scoring droughts from secondary contributors Quinton Byfield, Erik Haula, Trevor Moore, and Joel Armia, the Kings skipped their morning skate ahead of the early puck drop. Defenseman Brandt Clarke has been cleared to play after exiting Thursday's game following a hit from Ottawa's Hayden Hodgson.

Injured forward Kevin Fiala took a positive step by participating as a full-contact skater in practice, though head coach Peter Laviolette stressed patience before returning to game action. The Sabres conclude a four-game road trip behind Tage Thompson, who scored a hat trick in Buffalo's previous win over Anaheim.
