New York Yankees outfielder Spencer Jones and his girlfriend, Ava O'Connor, announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Saturday. The 25-year-old proposed to O'Connor on top of the Empire State Building in New York City during the baseball offseason.

Jones completed his rookie season in 2026 following a May call-up, batting .245 with 11 home runs and 40 RBIs across 86 games. The Yankees were later eliminated by the Rays in the ALDS.
