The Jillaroos produced the biggest win in an international fixture, but Welsh players will be cheering on the plane back home after they became the first team to breach the Australian line all tournament.
The Australian Jillaroos secured a record-breaking 124-6 World Cup victory over Wales on Sunday, marking the biggest win in international rugby league history. Superstar Jaime Chapman led the scoring blitz with a six-try haul, while Jess Sergis crossed the line four times as Australia established a dominant 60-0 lead by halftime.
Five-eighth Jesse Southwell delivered a standout display, scoring a try, setting up six others, and converting 20 of 21 attempts. Tamika Upton added a late double, while Paige Travis scored the lone consolation try for Wales 11 minutes from full-time.
