Renato Moicano reacted to his third-round TKO loss against Tom Nolan at UFC Halloween on October 31, 2026, offering no excuses despite a controversial stand-up. The Brazilian lightweight took to social media to congratulate Nolan, stating that while he secured back control, he was unable to do sufficient damage against Nolan's defense.
The fight featured controversy when referee Dan Miragliotta stood both fighters up in the second round while Moicano held a dominant body triangle. Nolan capitalized on the reset, ultimately securing the stoppage via ground-and-pound in the third round. Moicano has two fights remaining on his current UFC contract before planning to test free agency.
