Georgia have bolstered their coaching ranks ahead of the upcoming Rugby World Cup in 2027 with the appointment of former All Blacks great Jerome Kaino.

Despite the headline stating Jerome Kaino joins the Springboks, former All Blacks forward Jerome Kaino has actually joined Georgia's coaching staff as an assistant coach under Pierre-Henri Broncan. The appointment strengthens Georgia's coaching setup for the November international window, during which they will face Canada, Tonga, and the United States.
Kaino will focus primarily on contact areas and attacking rucks while simultaneously maintaining his current coaching position with French club Toulouse. Georgia shares Pool B with South Africa, Italy, and Romania at the upcoming 2027 Rugby World Cup.
