After a close qualifying session for the Mexico City Grand Prix, Charles Leclerc lamented that he simply didn't do a good enough job.

Charles Leclerc expressed anger with himself after qualifying third for the Mexico City Grand Prix behind pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton and second-place George Russell. Despite leading the opening two practice sessions, the Ferrari driver lamented that he failed to execute a strong enough lap when it mattered during his final run in Q3.
Leclerc noted that Ferrari possesses competitive race pace and performs well through the corners at high altitude. However, he warned that overtaking will be extremely challenging during the race, making the opening corners through Turn 3 crucial for his chances.
