Sergio Perez has signed a three-year contract extension with Cadillac that keeps him with the team through 2029. The deal is reportedly valued at over $100 million across three years, including base salary and performance bonuses, averaging more than $33 million per season. The agreement makes the 36-year-old Mexican driver the sixth highest-paid competitor on the Formula 1 grid.
Perez confirmed that this contract will be his last in Formula 1, intending to retire to spend time with his family. The announcement comes ahead of the Mexico City Grand Prix, where Perez is scheduled to reach a career milestone by making his 300th Formula 1 race start.
