Renato Moicano releases first statement after UFC Vegas 123 loss

Renato Moicano released a video statement addressing his third-round TKO loss to Tom Nolan at UFC Vegas 123 in Las Vegas. Moicano expressed disappointment over the defeat following a controversial second-round standup by referee Dan Miragliotta. Despite the referee's contested intervention, Moicano congratulated Nolan and stated that the Australian fighter was not responsible for the official's call.

Moicano noted that while he felt Nolan was superior on the feet, he believed he could have capitalized on Nolan's wrestling weaknesses. The 37-year-old fighter confirmed he will not retire following the defeat, emphasizing plans to improve across all areas of his game as he works through the final two bouts on his UFC contract.
