Core Jackson, New York Yankees prospect, wants to play like the Brewers and Rays.

Yanks Go Yard writer Adam Weinrib humorously argues that Yankees infield prospect Core Jackson's recent appearance on Foul Territory clashed with the organization's current culture. During the interview, Jackson praised the old-school style of play showcased by the Milwaukee Brewers and Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series, leading Weinrib to jokingly suggest Jackson's comments were akin to asking for a trade.
Weinrib contends that the Yankees should adopt aspects of the Brewers' and Rays' approaches by seeking better clubhouse cohesion and diversified offensive tactics. Jackson, a 2025 fifth-round pick currently struggling with a .122 batting average in the Arizona Fall League, is slated to play for Double-A Somerset next season.
