The Bears dealt more good news on a new blockbuster trade for another star.

The Chicago Bears are exploring additional trades for veteran pass rushers after acquiring defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport reported that Chicago is making inquiries ahead of the November 10 trade deadline, noting that a potential reunion with Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher Khalil Mack is plausible.
Mack is currently on a one-year, $18 million contract, with ESPN's Jeremy Fowler estimating he could potentially be acquired for a Day 3 draft pick. However, Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported that Chargers general manager Joe Hortiz and head coach Jim Harbaugh have resisted trading veteran players.
