Reid described the fateful false start as "one man's opinion."
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid expressed frustration after a late false start penalty nullified a potential game-winning touchdown in a 28-24 defeat against the Denver Broncos. With just four seconds remaining from Denver's 1-yard line, quarterback Patrick Mahomes connected with Rashee Rice in the end zone, but the score was erased by a flag called on right tackle Jaylon Moore.
Kansas City had held a 24-13 lead entering the fourth quarter before Denver mounted a late comeback to take the victory and control of the AFC West. Following the contest, Reid questioned the decisive ruling by stating he did not see the alleged false start that doomed the Chiefs' final drive.
