Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes and gymnast Livvy Dunne celebrated Halloween by wearing matching costumes inspired by the 2003 Christmas movie Elf. Skenes dressed as Buddy the Elf, complete with the green outfit and a plate of spaghetti, while Dunne dressed as a bottle of Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup.
Away from Halloween, Skenes concluded his 2026 season with a 3.82 ERA and 200 strikeouts across 32 starts for the Pirates. Meanwhile, Dunne is preparing for her acting debut in Fox's Baywatch reboot, scheduled to premiere on January 6, 2027.
