Dylan Larkin is hoping leaving the Detroit Red Wings will speed up a trade but that may not be the case. He could be altering his trade list, which may speed up things.

Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin decided to step away from the team in an attempt to force a trade, but reports indicate the move might not accelerate a deal. Larkin is reportedly forfeiting $41,000 per day in salary, yet the limited market among the clubs on his 10-team trade list continues to complicate potential discussions.
Sportsnet insider Elliotte Friedman reported that Larkin could alter his 10-team trade list in the coming days, as moves to contenders like the Florida Panthers, Vegas Golden Knights, or Colorado Avalanche appear unlikely. Meanwhile, Chris Johnston noted that several clubs on Larkin's approved list either lack necessary trade assets or roster space, creating an ongoing standoff.
