To say Devin Cooley doesn’t stop learning is an understatement. That’s helped the pet-saving journeyman handle a career-threatening concussion, the path to Calgary’s crease, and life itself.

Calgary Flames goaltender Devin Cooley has revitalized his career by embracing philosophy, psychology, and personal learning to transform his mental approach. After battling setbacks and a significant concussion during the 2024-25 season, Cooley developed a detailed study system called The Everything Project to manage emotions and improve performance on the ice.
Cooley finished in the top 10 in save percentage among NHL goalies with 30 or more appearances in 2025-26. His breakout play earned him a two-year contract extension with a $1.35 million cap hit, forming a dependable goaltending tandem alongside Dustin Wolf.
