The Indianapolis Colts‘ season just keeps getting worse. At the same time they were getting crushed in the first half by the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday — to the tune of 28-0 — Adonai Mitchell was having a massive half…

Billy Heyen of Heavy argues that the Indianapolis Colts' trade sending wide receiver Adonai Mitchell to the New York Jets appears increasingly unfavorable for Indianapolis. While the Colts trailed the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-0 in the first half on Sunday, Mitchell posted five receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown in the first half against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Mitchell was traded to New York alongside 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks in a deal for cornerback Sauce Gardner. Heyen highlights that with Indianapolis falling toward a 2-6 record, the Jets hold an increasingly valuable draft pick while the Colts simultaneously face significant wide receiver injuries and trade rumors.
