Besiktas is monitoring Newcastle United midfielder Joe Willock and Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin ahead of the January transfer window. According to Sabah, Willock is the Turkish club's primary target to strengthen their midfield under manager Vincenzo Italiano. However, if Besiktas fails to secure a permanent deal for Willock, they are expected to shift their focus toward signing Raskin.
Raskin previously attracted interest from Besiktas in the summer before remaining at Ibrox under manager Derek McInnes. The Belgian international enters the final year of his contract next summer, and the writer notes that selling him midway through the campaign could impact the club's Scottish Premiership title hopes.
