In their last loss, New Orleans Saints TE Juwan Johnson had only three targets. Not a one-time drop-off; he's actually vanished from the offense.

Molly Bauer reports that New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson has seen a dramatic drop in production and usage following a strong start to the 2026 season. After posting 21 receptions for 232 yards and three touchdowns over the first four weeks, Johnson has logged just five catches on 10 targets for 23 yards since Week 5.
Bauer highlights that Johnson's targets per game have dropped by over 50 percent, alongside a decline in routes run to 56.2 percent over the past two games. Despite the presence of Noah Fant and Oscar Delp, Bauer argues the Saints must find ways to reintegrate their top tight end following the bye week.
