Bones Hyland believes part of his game deserves more recognition, and his latest Timberwolves performance gives him a strong case.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Bones Hyland highlighted his playmaking after recording eight assists, 19 points, and one turnover in a 127-101 win over the Los Angeles Clippers. Following the game, Hyland stated that his passing ability is underrated and that he wants to continue showcasing it. His expanded role comes as Minnesota manages offense while Anthony Edwards recovers from knee surgery.
Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch praised Hyland's ability to pressure defenses directly, noting that purposeful drives create opportunities for teammates. Forward Jaden McDaniels noted that Hyland's deep shooting range helps open the floor. Hyland has accumulated 15 assists across Minnesota's first six games despite averaging just 11.3 minutes per contest.
