Through his first seven outings with the Minnesota Timberwolves, LaMelo Ball is averaging 3.7 turnovers in 25.1 minutes per game, and this is problematic.

Dunking with Wolves writer Kenny Kluska argues that LaMelo Ball's high turnover rate and foul trouble are significantly limiting his impact for the Minnesota Timberwolves. With Anthony Edwards sidelined following knee surgery, Minnesota fell to 4-3 after losing 121-111 to the San Antonio Spurs, a game in which Ball committed five turnovers and fouled out after playing only 20 minutes.
Kluska highlights that Ball is posting a career-high 21.4 turnover percentage despite seeing reduced playing time and lower usage. During Saturday's fourth-quarter loss to the Spurs, Ball committed three turnovers within two minutes, which Kluska contends undermined Minnesota's comeback efforts and must be corrected.
