Sheffield Wednesday’s next manager will be Dave Challinor.

Antony Sweeney was spotted alongside incoming Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Challinor during the Owls' 1-1 draw against Blackpool, hinting at a potential coaching role. Challinor, who agreed a deal to take charge of Wednesday, attended the match in the director's box following an earlier confirmation of his appointment by the club.
Sweeney previously worked under Challinor as a first-team coach at Stockport County and also played under him at Hartlepool United. Challinor is also expected to bring in longtime assistant Clint Hill, while Sheffield Wednesday prepares to finalize the managerial appointment details.
