The New York Jets absolutely fumbled a winnable game against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8, and there were more losers than winners at the end.

The Jet Press evaluated standout performers from the New York Jets' Week 8 defeat against the Las Vegas Raiders. The high-scoring contest saw the teams combine for 68 points as the Jets fell to a 2-6 record on the season. Charlie Baduini highlighted wide receiver Adonai Mitchell and running back Braelon Allen as positive standouts for their strong individual offensive performances in the loss.
Conversely, Baduini singled out head coach Aaron Glenn, special teams coordinator Chris Banjo, safety Minkah Fitzpatrick, and left tackle Olu Fashanu as losers. Glenn and Banjo received criticism for defensive struggles and allowing a 95-yard kick return touchdown, while Fitzpatrick was cited for post-game remarks. Fashanu was noted due to the standout performance of tight end Brock Bowers, whom the Jets bypassed in the 2024 NFL Draft.
