Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson will be unavailable this week due to a concussion as the Jets head to Kansas City to face the Chiefs in Week 9.

New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson has been ruled out of Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs after entering concussion protocol. Head coach Aaron Glenn confirmed the news after Wilson missed practice sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. Wilson leads the Jets in targets, catches, receiving yards, and touchdown receptions this season, tallying 43 receptions for 527 yards and three scores through eight games under quarterback Geno Smith.
With Wilson sidelined, the Jets are expected to lean on receivers Adonai Mitchell and Omar Cooper Jr., as well as tight ends Mason Taylor and Kenyon Sadiq. Running back Breece Hall could also see increased involvement as he nears a return from a quad injury. Defensively, the Jets anticipate the return of rookie edge rusher David Bailey, who missed Week 8 with a groin injury.
