Pakistan were found one over short after time allowances were taken into consideration…

Pakistan players have been fined five percent of their match fees for maintaining a slow over rate during their victory over Sri Lanka in the tri-series final in Lahore. The team was ruled to be one over short after time allowances were considered under Article 2.22 of the ICC Code of Conduct. Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi accepted both the charge and the proposed sanction.
Despite the penalty, Pakistan secured a three-wicket victory after successfully chasing a target of 326. The chase featured a century from Fakhar Zaman and half-centuries from Saad Baig and Arafat Minhas, marking the joint-highest successful run chase in an ODI final.
