The Dolphins have secured a huge coup as a flurry of their star players hit the open market, with Maroons and Samoa star Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow re-signing.
The Dolphins have re-signed star fullback Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow on a permanent contract extension that will keep him at the club until at least the end of 2029. The deal comes just one day after the November 1 deadline passed, which allowed rival NRL clubs to negotiate with players off-contract after 2027.
Tabuai-Fidow has scored 66 tries in 78 matches for the Dolphins since joining the inaugural squad from North Queensland. Club chief executive Terry Reader praised the retention, highlighting Tabuai-Fidow's impact during the team's run to the preliminary final and his ongoing campaign with Samoa at the Rugby League World Cup.
