The Kansas City Chiefs are interested in acquiring a wide receiver ahead of the trade deadline, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Jaguars wideout Brian Thomas Jr. and Colts receiver Josh Downs have been identified as two potential targets for Kansas City as they evaluate trade market options.
Thomas has seen reduced playing time in Jacksonville behind Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers, though the team's willingness to make a permanent trade remains unclear. Meanwhile, Downs is reportedly available via trade from Indianapolis for a third-round draft pick as he plays out the final year of his rookie contract.
