Key Things to Know
  • Conor Gallagher risks a one-match ban after accumulating three yellow cards for Tottenham this season.
  • A fifth booking against Fulham on December 3 would rule Gallagher out against Arsenal on December 6.
  • Premier League rules mandate a one-game ban for five yellow cards within the opening 19 fixtures.
The Story in 60 Seconds

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Conor Gallagher is at risk of a one-match suspension after accumulating three yellow cards in the Premier League. Manager Roberto De Zerbi faces the possibility of being without the England international for key fixtures if he picks up two more bookings. Under FA rules, players receiving five yellow cards inside the first 19 matches receive an automatic one-game ban.

Should Gallagher pick up his fifth caution against Fulham on December 3, he would be suspended for the North London Derby against Arsenal on December 6. Fellow Tottenham players Mateus Fernandes, Archie Gray, Jan Paul van Hecke, and Micky van de Ven are also close behind with two bookings each ahead of upcoming matches.
