The Chicago Bears pulling off a potential Tyson Bagent trade could be hampered by one key wrinkle.

Ryan Heckman of Bear Goggles On argues that Jacoby Brissett could disrupt a potential trade sending Chicago Bears backup quarterback Tyson Bagent to the Baltimore Ravens. Following injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, Baltimore faces urgent quarterback needs, linking Bagent to his former offensive coordinator Declan Doyle. However, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport also identified Arizona Cardinals quarterback Brissett as an available target.
Heckman contends that Brissett is a better immediate option for Baltimore due to his extensive starting experience and lower trade cost as an expiring rental. While Bagent is younger and under contract through 2027, the writer estimates he would likely require a fourth-round draft pick compared to a cheaper fifth-round price tag for Brissett.
