Preview: Blackhawks to debut Hometown Remix jerseys tonight against the Avs

The Chicago Blackhawks host the Colorado Avalanche on November 2, 2026, marking the first meeting between the teams in the 2026-27 NHL regular season. Chicago enters the game looking to snap a two-game losing streak while officially debuting their all-green Hometown Remix jerseys. Meanwhile, Colorado visits on a two-game winning streak following recent victories against the New Jersey Devils and Calgary Flames.

Both teams face injury concerns entering the divisional contest. Avalanche defenseman Josh Manson is expected to miss at least eight weeks with a lower-body injury, prompting Colorado to recall Keaton Middleton. The Blackhawks remain without defenseman Bowen Byram, though forward Connor Bedard returned recently from missing the opening six games of the season.
