Florida’s starting goaltender Jacob Markstrom returns the ice in flashy new threads as the surging Cats chase a fourth straight win when they host former goalie Daniil Tarasov and the visiting Red Wings.
Florida Panthers starting goaltender Jacob Markstrom will return to the lineup on Monday night against the Detroit Red Wings at Amerant Bank Arena. Markstrom has missed the past five games after suffering an upper-body injury during practice on October 19. He represents the only lineup change for Florida following their 5-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Friday.
The game also marks the debut of Florida's new Hometown Remix uniforms as the team aims for a season-high fourth consecutive win. Markstrom enters the matchup with a 5-1-1 record, a 2.21 goals against average, and a .897 save percentage, facing former Panthers netminder Daniil Tarasov in goal for Detroit.
