Southampton head coach Tonda Eckert confirmed Flynn Downes is fit to start against West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday. The 27-year-old midfielder overcame an ankle ligament injury that sidelined him against Bolton and West Ham, having returned as a late substitute against QPR on Saturday.
Conversely, striker Cyle Larin remains an ongoing concern due to a hamstring problem and is unlikely to feature before the international break. Southampton is also expected to be without Caspar Jander, who recently suffered a minor muscle injury.
