The Story in 60 Seconds

The Chicago White Sox claimed infielder Graham Pauley off waivers from the Miami Marlins ahead of Monday's 40-man roster deadline. Pauley, a 26-year-old former 13th-round pick who previously played third base for Miami, brings depth as a multi-position reserve after batting .209/.272/.364 across parts of three MLB seasons.

To make room on the 40-man roster, the White Sox cleared two spots by outrighting outfielder Junior Perez and left-handed pitcher Ky Bush to Triple-A Charlotte after both cleared waivers. Following these moves, Chicago currently has one open spot remaining on its 40-man roster.
