The Magpies lost 1-0 to Everton on a tough night at St James' Park - but Matthias Jaissle did not hold back with his post-game comments…

Newcastle United head coach Matthias Jaissle stated that his squad failed to execute his tactical instructions during a home defeat against Everton. The Magpies managed only two shots on target throughout the match, resulting in boos from the crowd at both half-time and full-time at St James' Park.
Jaissle explained that relying on long balls was not the game plan and left focal point William Osula isolated. He expressed disappointment that strong training performances did not translate to the pitch, while also criticizing the referee for not calling an alleged foul on Fabian Schar.
