Josh Addo-Carr says he has “still got so much to give” to Parramatta as the Eels board considers his future after a false positive roadside drugs test…
Josh Addo-Carr has lost nearly $400,000 in endorsement deals following an initial false-positive roadside drug test result. The Parramatta Eels winger recently fronted the club's board after a secondary laboratory oral fluid test returned negative, clearing him of any police action. Major brands including Nike, Red Bull, and DoorDash cut ties immediately after the initial test result on September 11.
The 31-year-old reiterated his commitment to the Eels as the board considers whether to terminate his $450,000 per-annum contract. A final decision on Addo-Carr's playing future with the club is expected later this week.
