Amateur rugby league outfit Bedford Tigers have submitted a business plan to the RFL to partner with London Broncos and take their place in the Championship. The proposal depends on London earning promotion to Super League, which is expected to occur under an expanded 15-team setup backed by the NRL.
Bedford, who previously missed out on entering League One in 2025, stated the move would strengthen an existing joint venture between the sides. That partnership has already seen player movement, including Tigers representatives playing for Broncos reserves and Euan Parke moving to Bedford.
