The Colorado Avalanche came to the United Center and took two points from the Chicago Blackhawks.

Patrick Kane suffered an injury and left during the second period of the Chicago Blackhawks' 5-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Monday night. Kane did not return to the game at the United Center. Despite Chicago taking an early 2-0 lead through goals from Wyatt Kaiser and Roman Kantserov, Colorado rallied to secure the victory.
Nazem Kadri and Jaden Schwartz each scored twice for Colorado, alongside an empty-net goal, while goaltender Spencer Knight conceded four goals for Chicago. The Blackhawks now begin a three-game road trip against the Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, and Carolina Hurricanes.
