The Houston Texans have been one of the league’s worst rushing offenses in 2026, and it hasn’t helped that their big offseason acquisition has been banged up.David Montgomery, whom Houston traded offensive lineman Juice Scruggs, a 2026 fourth-round draft pick…

The Jet Press' Mike Luciano has named the Houston Texans as a potential trade destination for New York Jets running back Breece Hall ahead of the NFL trade deadline. Houston has struggled with one of the league's worst rushing attacks in 2026 following injuries and inefficiency from offseason acquisition David Montgomery. Luciano suggested Hall could immediately step in as the starter for head coach DeMeco Ryans' offense.
The Jets could consider trading Hall following the recent emergence of 22-year-old running back Braelon Allen, who has excelled since Hall suffered an injury in Week 3. Baduini notes that while Hall signed a three-year contract extension less than six months ago, a fourth-round draft pick might be enough to facilitate a potential trade.
