Super League clubs are set to enter the Challenge Cup at different stages of the competition next season as part of new proposals.

The Challenge Cup will introduce a major format overhaul next year with Super League clubs entering across different rounds based on previous league positions. The competition will begin with community clubs in round one before Championship sides enter in rounds two and three. Certain Super League teams will then enter in round four, followed by the remaining top-flight clubs joining in round five at the last-16 stage.
The format adjustments coincide with wider plans to expand Super League to 15 clubs, linked to the potential inclusion of London Broncos. Round two is scheduled for the weekend of January 23-24, while decisions regarding Toulouse Olympique's participation and potential bye weeks for top-flight teams remain unconfirmed.
