Patrick Mahomes under fire after fans discover the cold reality of Chiefs’ 5-2 start to the season

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is facing criticism from fans following consecutive losses that exposed the team's reliance on an easy early schedule. After starting 5-0, the Chiefs suffered back-to-back defeats against the Seattle Seahawks (20-3) and Denver Broncos (28-24). Supporters noted that three of Kansas City's early victories came against struggling teams, including the Colts, Dolphins, and Chargers.

Mahomes returned from an offseason torn ACL in Week 1, but fans and analysts pointed out that the offense has relied heavily on running back Kenneth Walker III. Through seven games, Mahomes has completed 154 of 232 passes for 1,795 yards, 12 touchdowns, and four interceptions, alongside a 67.4 QBR.
