Netflix is moving forward with a major documentary about UFC CEO Dana White, directed by Gotham Chopra. The project, initially greenlit by former Netflix content chief Bela Bajaria, is expected to air in the first quarter of 2027. Despite Paramount securing a $7.7 billion broadcast deal for UFC fight rights over Netflix, the streaming platform chose to proceed with the film chronicling White's rise to prominence.
According to a report from Page Six, the documentary was originally planned to focus on Las Vegas before shifting entirely to White's career. The film is expected to cover significant recent milestones, including the UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House, the launch of Zuffa Boxing, and White's working relationship with Saudi boxing figure Turki Alalshikh.
