Joaquin Buckley calls out Dustin Poirier over airport arrest

UFC welterweight Joaquin Buckley has publicly called out retired former interim champion Dustin Poirier regarding an arrest at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport this past June. Poirier was arrested for public intoxication and subsequently took ownership of his behavior, which included threatening a police officer and directing a racial slur at him. Buckley condemned Poirier's actions on Instagram and directly challenged him to a confrontation.

Buckley criticized Poirier for disrespecting female staff during the altercation and questioned analyst Din Thomas for supporting Poirier over the incident. Currently on a three-fight losing skid, Buckley also stated that his upcoming fight will be his last.
