49ers trade pursuits may not be done with Cowboys WR rumors swirling

The San Francisco 49ers could pursue further trades ahead of the Nov. 10 deadline, with NFL insider Jordan Schultz reporting that wide receiver George Pickens of the Dallas Cowboys is drawing league-wide curiosity. Having already acquired defensive lineman DeForest Buckner from the Indianapolis Colts in a trade, San Francisco reportedly remains interested in acquiring another wide receiver and an additional pass rusher.

The 49ers have experienced significant wide receiver injuries, having already lost Christian Kirk and Ricky Pearsall for the remainder of the season. Schultz noted that Pickens is currently playing on the franchise tag in Dallas, where his production has declined to 39 receptions for just over 500 yards and two touchdowns this season.
